
Business lunch yesterday far south in Tangalle, with Italian architects friends Piero and Alexandra living on the island for 30 years. Anantara Resort opened last December. Its Italian restaurant has a breathtaking view over the coast which looks like Finistere, French Britain. Gnocchis and risottos are great with rare Italian wine card. Service is perfect and a lot of attentions to customers. Ended with a ristretto coffee (adding a cinnamon branch to give a local taste at your convenience ) and delicious Tiramisu. Prices are $$$ but it’s worth the detour. Sometimes as expats we need to take a breath of those flavours from Europe…
