Hipster spot? Probably… African vibes? Definitely! It is hard to classify this spot that locals and non-locals love to go to for a drink or two… after work on a Thursday night or later Saturday after 11pm. Here there is no cover, just a donation. Once inside, you will enjoy a retro deco with a bunch of stuff imported from African countries mixed with old style furnitures. I won’t post more pics, you gotta see it from your eyes! 2 bars serve the very popular in France Caribbean “punch” and a list of exotic cocktails full of colors. And to pretend you are a local, even if you don’t smoke you gotta check out the little area in the garden where all these Parisian go for a cig. Maybe you will meet some cool people out there? Only rule: arrive early! The wait to get in can be long after 10pm!

If you like Mediterranean food, you gotta check out that place. And if you don’t, well you still need to check it out! The 2 ladies who own it tried to reinvent Mediterranean cuisine and the result is awesome! They actually took their Armenian grand moms recipes to create a unique cuisine adapted to the modern tastes! Falafel, hummus, kefta, baba ghannuj taste like nowhere else! A great option for “fast” but tasty food. One of my favorite place in my neighborhood! Shoutout to the 2 ladies! They even sell a book with all the recipes so yes, you can try that at home 🙂

Paris graffiti arts on place de la republique after November’s attack in my neighborhood. These walls were painted with graffiti for the “new Blanche” event but several graffiti artists painted over them spontaneously art for Paris. Paris je t’aime aussi, had to post that Eiffel Tower!
