INFORMATIONS: The San Francisco premiere of San Francisco: Beyond the Postcard is a free community screening for invited guests in the Exploratorium’s Kanbar Forum for invited guests. Access to the theater is available from the front of the Exploratorium, right inside the historic arched Pier 15 entrance. We will have staff stationed at the theater entrance to point you in the right direction. There are various parking lots located around the museum. The closest parking lot, called Priority Parking, is across the street at Front and Green Streets. This lot is open from 8:00am until 6:00pm. For the locations of other nearby parking lots and directions, please see the web site below. http://www.exploratorium.edu/visit/location-directions Metered parking is available along the Embarcadero and on side streets. Please note that the parking meters along the Embarcadero are in service on Sundays until 11:00pm. One block away from the Embarcadero, the meters are not in affect on Sundays – but double check. Public transit is a good option. The F-Line and E-Line Trolleys both stop in front of Pier 15 at Green Street. Many buses and Bart come to the foot of Market Street and the Embarcadero. The Exploratorium is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Embarcadero Bart Station and Market Street muni stops and from the Ferry Building – walk north, toward Fisherman’s Wharf, or take the trollies directly to Green Street, Pier 15.
