Lighthouse in Peninsula Park. This state park is amazing for many reasons : trails, biking path, beaches, panoramas on the bay… you can spend the day or only few hours, enjoy ! During winter, they even have candlelight hikes, sounds romantic !

It seems a little bit crowded but it’s because the spot is the best : swimming, kayaking, paddling, relaxing, even barbecue is available in the yard ahead of the beach. Tip : this side of Door County has a warmer water temperature.

A great spot to visit on the East Coast, the Lighthouse of Cana Island. You’ll be amazed by the shell “sand” beach behind. Be careful, when a storm is coming, you’ll have to walk on water to reach it.

Really steep and narrow to go down but it definitely worth it. Pebble beach, ideal for kayak or late bath at sundown.
You can find a lot of Orchard or Cherry farms in Door County with free wine tasting. A good tip, choose the ones with kids playgrounds, you could sip glasses of wine while your kids are playing and enjoying summer outdoor fun !

My favorite spot in Door County, wild, authentic and stunning. You can jump in the water even if it’s cooler on that part of the lake, kayak through the caves or just take a walk. Be careful with young childrens. Ideal pic-nic area aside.
